The Government of the Republic of Checkland would like to bid a farewell to our dear friends the Federal Columns of Arbores and the Crown of Vassland, who as of a few days ago dissolved to form the Cooperative Republic of Conasela. 

For the past year, Arbores and Vassland have been great allies to the Republic of Checkland. Both nations have played an important role in the development of our nation, and we are extremely grateful for the cooperation, friendship, and support they have shown us throughout our relationship. 

While we are sad to see Vassland and Arbores go, we look forward to building upon our relationship with Conasela and seeing the future growth of their nation.

 On behalf of the Republic of Checkland, we wish the people of Conasela the absolute best as they begin this new era. May Conasela prosper, remain strong, and have a long and successful future.

The Provincial Assembly of Paxia has officially approved the establishment of the Municipality of Halgonia and the City of New Enfield. 

Halgonia is named in honour of Halifax and Enfield, Nova Scotia, recognizing the province’s cultural heritage. The Municipality of Halgonia shall extend from the western border of Paxia to the eastern border, and from the southern border to the rear boundary of the Executive House. 

The City of New Enfield shall extend from the western border of Paxia to the eastern border, and from the rear boundary of the Executive House to the northern border of Paxia. 

Johnathan James Campbell has been elected as Mayor of Halgonia, and Damien Schallock has been elected as the Mayor of New Enfield.

As of Wednesday, June 10, at 3:51 AM, Prince Darryl Ross has been safely returned to the Executive House of the Republic of Checkland. Additional information regarding this matter will be released in due course.

As of Thursday, June 4, at approximately 3:00 PM, Prince Darryl Ross has been reported missing by the Executive House of the Republic of Checkland. At this time, no further details will be released out of respect for the ongoing efforts to locate him. Additional information will be provided when appropriate.
